11th Grade Exhibtion
Exhibition this year seemed so sutle compared to all the years before, before exhibiton was hectic getting it all ready was a pain but when exhibition day came, it seem to go very fast, like at a moments glance and its already almost over, it was very casual people walked in, people walked out a lot of people stayed in and looked at a bunch of paintings the students did, and some talked to a couple students about other conversational things, i know i talked to a couple people for awhile, besides that it was pretty good, i think it was just the relaxing feeling the room gave off,
We set up paintings around the room to give the feel of a muesum.
We also had computers in the middle where people could walk up and listen to peoples oral history videos from there choosing.
Other photos of paintings, these are the "Pieces of me" hung next to mrs shani's room.
We also hung giant posters out in front, which were giant health care posters, painted by a collective amount of students in the class.
We also made a logo for our project and put them on T-shirts for the students and the public to buy.
These are some of the students standing at there posts on exhibition night.
And at the very end we all took a group photo.
Reflection
this project was very long, its amazing how fast it went by, one moment we were new students the second moment the semesters over, and its hard to think that it went by so quickly, especially since we started this in september, this project was very work filled, their was not a day we didnt have something to turn in, we were always needing to get something in, some weeks more than others, but it was decent, when we did turn work in, i was pretty good with things i had written down in my notebook but i did have trouble printing work out before class, it wasn't always easy for me, because either id go to bed and forget to print it at all, and when i got to school i was too busy doing other things i couldn't print it, besides printing i was alright with everything else i needed to do. Most of this project i did pretty alright in, except for calling the doctor i was never able to contact a doctor, and ironically enough a doctor finally responded on the day all our information for the doctor was due. all the other things especially my art pieces i did for the pieces of me, and the group piece and the creative commissions i put a efficient amount of work on, i especially did better on my Pieces of me because i did better than my expectations.
As i underwent this project, we had to develop a health plan as i said before we had to set up a schedule of what we would eat for nutrition, what physical activity we would have to do everyday, and what mental exercises we had to do, to maintain any stress.
Theres a lot of terrible things that can happen to good people, and i always think if i ever get a really bad disease, im done for, but its amazing to hear some stories of miracles happening to people and surviving their sickness, like they were shooting for the moon and hit it. I mean sure their were a lot of stories of relatives getting too sick it was too much to bear, but i'm happy here these stories. Its amazing to see how doctors and biologist work together to achieve goals.
I would wish to learn more about the eyeball, the eye fascinates me very much as well as the ears as well, i like to study them a lot and look at the different shades and colors in each one, i also would like to look at the fascinations of the tongue and how the nose and tongue work together to form different tastes, its interesting especially when your sick because everything taste a little bit different, and you focus more on the texture of what your eating when your sick as well, if i did go to college these would be my main focus or study i would observe if i were in college and taking a class.
